Services return on Monday 6th July
We have some great news that we are increasing our service levels back to pre-Covid levels from Monday 6th July!
As the government eases the lockdown restrictions, you may have seen that we have everything in place to welcome back our customers to a Covid-19 safe environment. We have hand sanitiser available as you board, we have social distancing signage on board, and our vehicles are being cleaned thoroughly, with main touch points being cleaned during the working day.
Although the easing of lockdown is great news and means some normality resumes in everyone's lives, we still ask you to please follow government advice and to only make journeys that are essential to ensure our services are not too busy to exercise social distancing rules. If you are planning on using our buses for the first time in a while, please note that there may have been some changes since we last welcomed you aboard:
- It is a legal requirement that passengers wear a face covering whilst on board, unless they fall into one of the government's exempt categories
- We prefer contactless payment, or you can use one of our smartcards or buy tickets on our app. If paying the driver in cash, please have the correct fare ready, as no change is being given
- Exercise social distancing when queuing at bus stops, allow people to get off first, board one at a time, and sit apart from people from other households
- Please keep windows open for ventilation as much as possible
Before you travel, you can look on our website at the capacity checker, which will tell you how busy the service is on your route (with social distancing). If it shows the bus being full, this may mean you have to wait for the next available journey.
Our routes will revert back to normal timetables, so please take a look at the routes and times section before the 6th July for details.
Welcome back everyone!
